OLivia Chapter 5- pg. 53 Tough question- Bruno asks his father who all the people are behind the fence that he can see from his window, “Who are all the people outside?” This tough question moves the plot forward because it made Bruno have a different perspective on the people behind the fence for most of the movie. Chapter 6- pg. 58 Words of the wiser- Bruno finds out that he isn’t the center of the universe and needs to respect his peers. This words of the wiser is important to move the plot forward because in the rest of the book he is kinder and doesn’t act as rude to people he doesn’t know, which later he uses those traits when he talks to Shumel.
AdaFia Chapter 15- Pg. 172 Again and Again- Kolter asked Bruno “Do you know this boy?” This again and again creates emotion/suspense because Kolter is yelling at Bruno making Bruno feel pressure and scared.
Chapter 15- Pg. 169 Tough Question- Bruno asked Shmuel “Are you hungry?” This Tough question creates emotion/suspense because this is the first time Bruno asked Shmuel that question. It creates an awkward silence and very uncomfortable.
