Word Art

Because I bought one-month of word art, we can create as many designs as we want to. I'm thinking of making word art for each member of my family in an customized design for each. Then, I'll print them and put them inexpensive frames for Christmas. I love word art; the site does most of it for you and there are a lot of design choices. Brainstorming what words to include is the hardest part; I think putting in phrases rather than just separate words makes the design better.

Veterans

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of veterans. 8A and I especially enjoyed listening to Mr. Blackburn who came to our class to discuss his time as a veteran. Several of the 8th graders used some of his quotations in their essays.

I've included a photo of the three students who read their essays at the assembly today. Four teachers read the essays and then chose the top three. The students are Sye, Lexi, and Maliah.
